Style Properties Form
The styles properties form is a composed of a variety of property sheets. There is a slight difference in the options available between Pie Charts and Column/Line charts but the are a lot of common options.
Property Sheets Common to all charts
Chart Area
The chart area property sheet allows configuration of the size of the chart, text color, background color and animation duration.
Plot Area
This property sheet allows configuration of the appearance of the main chart area: series colors, background shading, horizontal lines, the appearance of the individual elements (fill style: solid, linear gradient, radial gradient etc.,), the animation effect (fade, grow, etc.,)
For 2D charts the user can select either column or line chart display. For column charting a "Stacked" check box specifies that columns should be stacked on top of each other instead of being "clustered" next to each other.
For 2D column charts the user can also turn on 'hovering value display'. When this is turned on the value of the various data elements on the chart will appear above the element when the mouse enters the element and will fade out when the mouse exits the element.
Title/Legend
Allows specification of the fonts used for title, subtitle and legend text.
