Customize Legend
Each project contains a legend which can be customized for colors and symbols.
Select "Customize Palette and Symbols" from the "Project" menu.
The form below is displayed.

To change the Description of a color or symbol item, type the text you wish to display in the legend in the corresponding text box.
To show or hide an item set the items corresponding show box by clicking on it. Each show box can be toggled to "Y" or "N".
To Change the color setting of items 1 thru 19, click on the item you wish to change, the following dialog will appear.
- To customize the color in the "Current Color Window" use the Red, Green, and Blue sliders.
- The color in the "Current Color Window" will change as you move the sliders.
- You can jump to one of the colors in the "Default Color List" by clicking on one of the items in the list.
- When you a finished, click the "Apply" button to change the legend color you are editing.
When you are finished modifying the legend you can apply it to your Project by clicking the "Apply to Project" button. The Project legend will be changed along with the Project color pallet and symbol groups.
The colors as viewed on your computer screen may vary from the colors generated by your printer.
Managing Legend Files
Once you have configured a legend you can Save the configuration to a file. You can then Import this file into any of your projects.
Save a Legend to a file for use in other Projects.
- First configure the legend items, show status and descriptions.
- Click the "Save Current Legend to File" button shown in FIG.1 (a new dialog box will appear).
- Enter a unique name into the File Name text box.
- Click the "Save" button.
Import a Saved legend for use in current Project.
- Click the "Import/Delete Legend File" button shown in FIG.1 (a new dialog box will appear).
- Select a file from the "Existing File List".
- Click the "Import" button which will load the selected legend. This will replace the current legend.
Delete a Saved legend File.
- Click the "Import/Delete Legend File" button shown in FIG.1 (a new dialog box will appear).
- Select a file from the "Existing File List".
- Click the "Deleted" button.
- You will be prompted to confirm delete.
- Click the "OK" button to permanently delete the Legend file.
Note: Colors and Symbols can be displayed in the legend when working with the Knitting or Squares work sheet. Colors only will be displayed in the legend when working with Brick work sheet. |
