Main Window
When the Creative Design Chartmaker application is launched from your desktop or start menu, then "Main Window" will be displayed.
From this window you can:
- Open a NEW or EXISTING project.
- Set the Default Data file path.
- Access the Help file or application/license info.
Note: You can launch the Creative Design Chartmaker application by double clicking on a Creative Design data file (.kgd). This will launch the application, display the Design Window and open the file.
MAIN WINDOW
- Select "New" from the "File" menu to open a new project and display the Design Window.
- Select "Open" from the "File" menu to open an existing project and display the Design Window.
- Select " Default Data file Path" from the "Options" menu to change the default data directory.
This is the directory that is displayed in the "Save dialog" when you Save a project.
When you Save a project, it will be saved to the default data directory unless you specify otherwise in the "Save dialog" box that appears when you select "Save As" from the "File" menu.
When you select this option the following dialog will appear.
To change the default directory:
- Click the "Change" button. This will display a Browse dialog box.
- Select the directory, from the Browse dialog box, where you wish to Save your Projects.
- Click the "OK" button on the Browse dialog box.
- Verify that the new directory path appears in the Data File Path Window below.
- Click "OK" to complete the change.
