Disadvantage
The mentioned disadvantages do not occur in v-curves (so-called "virtual curves", invented and investigated by V.Muftey). V-curve it is a curve which belongs to a class of curves Ñ5. The frame of a v-curve is a polyline tangent to a v-curve. The frame of a v-curve is similar to the frame of quadratic b-spline curve.
Thus, providing high accuracy of positioning of a modeled curve with the help of the frame, the v-curve allows to model curves of a class Ñ5 with smooth change of curvature. |
