ID3 Tag Settings

MID Converter can write an ID3 Tags within the MP3 file. This tag contains information about the recorded track, this information can be displayed by the MP3 player like WinAmp.

Save ID3 tag

Enable this option if you want MID Converter to add ID3 information to all encoded MP3 files.

ID3 tag version

The ID3 Version selection box this option you can select which ID3 tag format shall be used by MID Converter.

The advantage of ID3 V2 over V1.0 is that the track/artist/comment fields are not limited to 30 characters, and additional tags have been defined.

If you select ID3 V2 tags, make sure that your player supports this tag format, otherwhise the player won't even play the MP3 files!
