File Menu

Freeze Image (Hotkey: Space)

This option toggles the basic function of this application - magnifying - on and off.

As soon as you try to count a couple of pixels or wish to point to a part of the magnified image with your mouse pointer, you will find this feature very useful. Therefore, its keyboard shortcut is simply the largest key on your keyboard.

Copy Image to Clipboard (Hotkey: Ctrl+C)

Stores the current magnified image in the Clipboard for later copying in other applications that support bitmap graphics.

Save Image as... (Hotkey: Ctrl+A)

This feature opens the standard file save dialog and stores the current magnified image to a BMP file.

Launch Desktop Ruler (Hotkey: Ctrl+R) Launch Desktop Ruler

Runs another Coder product - Desktop Ruler, if installed. If Desktop Ruler is not installed to the default path, you may need to run it once manually to inform Desktop Magnifier about its location.

This option is available through the toolbar button as well.

Exit (Hotkey: Alt+F4)

Closes the Magnifier and saves settings to the installation folder if Save Settings on Exit option was turned on.
