Disable Screen Saver
This is a feature can help us to freely play games and watch movies without being bothered by screen saver and suspend mode. We feel inconvenient when playing games with our gamepad because Windows always activate screen saver and suspend mode. It doesn't know we are using our computer although we don't tough the keyboard and the mouse. This happens not only in a few games but in many games. The same thing can happen when we are using our favorite video player to watch movie other than using Media Player.

How it works
If we turn on Saver Blocker (Figure 1), VividSwitcher will detect the foreground application, if the foreground application is in the list (Figure 3), then screen saver and suspend mode will not be activated until we switch to another application that not in the list.
A foreground application is an application which we are currently interacting with. Checking the "Turn on Saver Blocker on startup" (Figure 1) enables Saver Blocker to be automatically turned on every time we run VividSwitcher.
Fullscreen detection
The fullscreen application detection (Figure 2) can detect whether an application is running in fullscreen mode. If this option is checked, when a game or a video player enters fullscreen mode, screen saver and suspend mode will not be activated even the application is not in the list, until the application switches to window mode or quits. This function only works when the Saver Block is turned on.
Add an application to list
Let's have a look at Figure 5. If we are going to add an application to the list, and we know where the application is, click on the "Select App" button (Figure 5) to locate that application, or to locate that application's shortcut icon (if exists) on desktop.
Pick an application to list
If the application we are going to add is already running, we have another choice, to use the App Picker (Figure 6).

The above image is the App Picker of VividSwitcher. Suppose we are going to add an application called "Media Player Homecinema", we can run it, and then use App Picker to "Pick" it (Figure 7), clicking on the target application will pick its information to the App Picker (Figure 8), when the information fields show the correct information, click OK button to add the application. |
