Security Settings

If the program is in visible mode you can click to EmailObserver™ shortcut from Windows Start menu (as below):

Start > Programs > EmailObserver > EmailObserver

If EmailObserver™ is in invisible mode you have to press the program hotkey (default hotkey combination is Ctrl+Alt+Shift+A). The following window will appear:

Enable password protected login

By marking this checkbox you enable the password protected login. If this feature is active, after the program startup the following window will appear:

Enter your password, then confirm it and press the OK button. Now, every time you log in the system the password will be demanded.

Important note:

To reinforce EmailObserver™ security don't use very simple passwords.

Encryption

Mark this checkbox, enter your password, confirm it and now all the email copies will be saved to the local network or/and local drives in a coded form.

To decode messages use the Decrypt messages button.

Then click Apply to save settings.

Exclusion List

Enable this function by marking the correspondent checkbox.

If there are some users who are not to be monitored you can enter them in this list. Press the Add button and select account. Now their emails will reach the real recipient without being copied.

Hotkey combination

To activate hotkey operation you should mark the Enable hotkey combination checkbox.

Then you can set the key combination yourself, - just enter desired characters and press the OK button to apply it. Otherwise the default Ctrl+Alt+Shift+A combination will remain.
