SMTP Settings
You need to set the type of SMTP you want to use before sending any Campaign or mails.
The SMTP Settings interface can be called from Campaign Editor >> Tools menu
You will find three types of SMTP Settings:
- Built-in SMTP
- ISP's SMTP
- Mail Reflector
Select the appropriate SMTP option you would like to use.
If you choose to use Built-in SMTP no other configuration has to be entered.
If you choose to use ISP's SMTP enter the SMTP server name provided by your ISP in the settings screen. It is generally in the following format: "smtp.yourisp.com" or "mail.yourisp.com". Kindly contact your ISP for the exact outgoing SMTP server name.
If you choose to use Mail Reflector, follow the steps below:
- Upload the ChilkatCGI.exe provided in KMVLite/CGI folder where you installed the application to your websites cgi-bin folder.
- Enter the above format link in the Mail Reflector path in SMTP settings and Save.
