PST-Transport
The PST transport submits incomming emails directly to a data file without using Outlook, it allows you to have your personal folder at the server and use it without any local email account at the client. Emails get delivered also if Outlook at the client is closed, however the rules assistant will not work (since Outlook is not transporting the emails). PST transport is often used to receive common email addresses like info@, support@ and so on.
After a click at "new" or "properties" you can modify the following fields:
- Alias
The OLFolders user account for this mailbox.
- Profile
The Outlook profile for this mailbox.
- Data file
The data file in which mails should be stored.
- Folder for Inbox
Normally, mails go into the inbox, if you want to have a different folder, for example Inbox - Sales you can enter any name here.
- Send mails
Sends emails which are found in the outbox each time OLFolders sending/receiving.
- Receive mails
New emails are transported to the file
- Leave in mail proxy
Allows you to receive emails also using POP3
