Retrive External Mails
Proxy accounts are used to retrieve POP3 mails from your provider to your computer. At this stage, the POP3 accounts are not bound to any use, other than the postmaster.
The settings made in this dialog belong to the POP3 account you have on your provider.
All mail accounts are hold centrally, because more than one user can get his emails with every account. It is possible to set up a mail account from the proxy settings dialog, which appears in the user management dialog.
The following property may be assigned to an account.
- Email address for this account
- Distribution of incoming emails to multiple accounts
- Email forwarding
- Sending a copy to another email account.
