Events
This form allows you to work with a list of wedding-related events. This form is depicted below:

On the top of the form you can see the list of events. When program starts first this list contains only one event - Wedding. You can't edit this event or delete it. To change wedding date you should use means of Plan Change form.
You can add other events to this list. These events can be edited and/or deleted. Add to this list all events that should take place before and after the wedding.
Each event has its date and name. You can also specify following additional information for it:
- Schedule
- Celebration places
- Vendors
On the bottom site of the form you can see page control with three pages allowing you to enter this information.
Schedule page contains schedule of the event day. Each record of the schedule describes certain action or activity. Action name attribute is a short description of this action. Start time and End time attributes specify time interval for the action. If activity has only start time while its end time is undefined you should specify for End time attribute the same value as for Start time attribute. The same has to be applied when activity starts at defined time and lasts to the end of the day or even longer. Note that you can't specify two actions with intersecting time intervals for one event.
Celebration Places page contains a list of places where event will be celebrated. This list contains only those places where event really (not potentially) will be celebrated. To add celebration places to this list click on Add button. This will show a dialog containing all records from Celebration Places form except for records that have been already added to the list of celebration places for current event.
If you want to view all attributes of celebration place click on View details button. You will see following dialog:

As you can see in the picture above values for E-mail and Web site attributes are hyperlinks. So you can click on e-mail to send a letter or on web site to open it in your web browser.
Vendors page contains a list of vendors helping in the event organization. You can add to this list records from Vendors form. Work with this page is similar to work with Celebration Places page so there is no need to describe it.
Reports

As you can see in this picture there are four types of reports you can create for the list of events:
Events. The report of this type will contain only the list of events.
Schedules. The report of this type will contain the list of events with schedules for each event.
Celebration places. The report of this type will contain the list of events with corresponding lists of celebration places.
Vendors. The report of this type will contain the list of events with corresponding lists of vendors.
You can filter events that should be included into report. Possible values for filter are:
- All events
- Selected event
- Events with defined date
- Events with undefined date
- Past events
- Current and coming events with defined date
Event with defined date is that for which date is specified. Past events are events which date is defined and less than current date. Current event is event which date is defined and equal to current date. Coming events are events which date is either undefined or defined and greater than current date. Filter Current and coming events with defined date will select only those coming events that have defined date. |
