Gift Registry

This form allows you to create a list of gifts that you want to receive on the occasion of wedding. It is depicted below:

To this form you should add all gifts you want to receive from your guests. After receiving the gift you can mark it as received. This form doesn't replace registry of received gifts (it is enabled through Received Gifts form). This form is something like online gift registry, but it has one disadvatage against such registries - list of gifts is not accessible for your guest through internet. That's why online wedding registry is more convenient. But if you want to centralize all information concerning your wedding in one place Gift Registry form will be very usefull for you.

On the top site of the form you can see list of gifts. To see all attributes of the gifts in this list look at the dialog in the following picture:

As shown in this picture a gift has following attributes:

• Gift name
• Number of units
• Unit
• Importance level
• Gift received

Value for Importance level attribute is set using slider control. Move slider right to specify higher level of gift's importance and move it left to specify lower level.

After receiving gift you should mark it as received using Gift received check box.

Now let's look on the bottom site of the form. Here you can see list of gift shops where selected gift can be purchased. To add gift shop to this list click on Add button above it. In the dialog that will appear select gift shops where gift can be purchased and click on Add button. This dialog contains list of vendors with Vendor type attribute set to Gift shop except for already added vendors. To add vendors to the list go to Vendors form.

If you want to view all attributes of gift shop click on View details button. You will see the following dialog:

As you can see in the picture above values for E-mail and Web site attributes are hyperlinks. So you can click on e-mail to send a letter or on web site to open it in your web browser.

Reports

As you can see in this picture there are two types of reports you can create for gift registry:

Gifts and gift shops. The report of this type will contain the list of gifts with the list of gift shops for each gift. Only list of gifts. The report of this type will contain only the list of gifts. You can filter events that should be included into report. Possible values for filter are:

• Include all gifts
• Include only received gifts
• Exclude received gifts
