Add New Work
To add a new Work to WorkManager Pro you should perform one of following actions:
- Select Work -> Add new... in main menu

- Press the Add... button in program ToolBar

The following window will appear:

Type in the name of your new Work. Make sure it's something reasonable. For example if you are planning to create a Work that will contain 'My Thesis Project.doc', 'Research results.xls', 'C:\Thesis\pictures\graph1.jpg' and other documents, folders, URLs, programs that you use while working on your thesis it seems reasonable to call this new Work something like 'Thesis Project'
NOTE: due to Windows file naming restrictions you may not use the following symbols in Work names: / \ < > : ? *|
Now you have 2 options:
- press OK to accept the name and add it to WorkManager Pro, or
- press Cancel if you changed your mind and do not want to create a new Work

If you have provided valid Work name and pressed OK button you should see your new Work in My Works tree on the left of WorkManager Pro main window.
Congratulations! You can now add tasks to your newly created Work and run them. |
