Adding Membership Types
Add your membership types. Club Manager comes with five types (Regular, Junior, Senior, Family and Life) pre installed in the database. These can be removed if desired but at least one membership type must be in the database before you can add members themselves. When adding membership types you will need to set the fees for each type of membership. Fees include Initiation Fee, Dues, Monthly Minimum, Special and Other. Not all these fees are required but you must add the fee for Dues. To add membership types click on File at the main screen menu then select Add Membership Types. Add as many membership types as your require.
Each Membership Type has five fee types as follows:
- Dues
Normal monthly dues
- Initiation Fee
Only if an initiation fee is applied to new members
- Minimum Fee
Only if a monthly minimum charged to each member
- Special Fee
Fee charged for any special service
- Other Fee / Charges
Used for any fee or charge not covered by the above
You are not required to use any of these fee types however if your club does charge dues, fees, etc. these can be used as needed.
