GIF Files Optimization

Start Advanced GIF Compressor. In a directory listing (2), on the left, find the directory which contains GIF files that you want to optimize. Click "Test" button to preview the difference of a file size before and after optimization, or just click "Optimize" to begin optimizaton of the selected files in a choosen directory. All the information on a optimization process is shown in the table on the right: in the "File name" column there are names of GIF files which are in directory that is being optimized, in the "Original size" column size of these files before optimizating is shown, in the "Optimized size" column you can see the size of optimizated files, and the percent of file difference compared to the non-optimized files is shown in "Saved" column. The total amount of a saved bytes you can see in the status bar (5). At any moment you can abort testing or optimizing by clicking "Abort" button.

If you want to optimize not all the files in the directory, but just one or few, then select files you wish to optimize by checking box at the left of the file name.
