The top three menu items are a shortcut to options available in the General Settings Tab. Each menu item toggles one of your settings. These menu items are provided to conveniently access these options.

Tool Tips (on/off): Enables or disables the presence of descriptive messages that appear when you hover your mouse over fields and other objects that are visible on the main user interface. These message will give you specific information about what to enter in a field.

Status Messages (on/off): Enables or disables the presence of instructional messages that appear on the status bar of the main user interface. Consider these messages as being "quick help".

Generate Thumbnails (on/off): Enables or disables the generation of thumbnail versions of your photos and receipts. Generating thumbnails is a resource intensive activity that may impact the performance of HomeStuff when scrolling through the item list when the item view is expanded to show thumbnails. Disabling thumbnails will greatly improve performance.

Reset Window <Ctrl+R>: Resizes the main application window to pre-defined settings. This function is handy when the item list columns have been resized and no longer fit the view.

Show More/Less <Ctrl+M>: Maximizes or minimizes the view of the item detail form.
