Upload Picture Files to Flickr
Uploading picture files to Flickr is a simple and straightforward operation. Here we show you the complete process as it looks when you first use the option and after that it becomes even simpler.
Like with other options you will first open a folder with picture files in Windows Explorer, make a selection of files to upload, right-click the selection and choose "Upload to Flickr" option. Here is what happens next:
Step 1
Before Photo Gadget Pro can upload pictures to your Flickr account you have to give it permission and to do that you have to visit the Flickr web site. Click Ok on this dialog and the program will open your default browser and take you directly to the Flickr web site. After you finish giving permission you will come back to Photo Gadget Pro to continue with the uploading process.
Step 2
You will come to this page only in case you are not already logged in to your Flickr account so just enter your Yahoo! ID and Password and click Sing In to move on. (note: this screenshot was cropped from the original page)
Step 3
The page on the Flickr web site where you should grant permission to Photo Gadget Pro to access your account. Simply click the "OK, I'LL ALLOW IT" button. (note: this screenshot was cropped from the original page)
Step 4
Still on the Flickr web site, you get the confirmation that you authorized Photo Gadget Pro and as the message suggests you can now close the browser window. (note: this screenshot was cropped from the original page)
Step 5
After closing the browser window Photo Gadget Pro is waiting for you. Just click Ok to continue.
Step 6
This dialog will be the first one you see next time you use "Upload to Flickr" option in Photo Gadget Pro. The program keeps the last used Flickr account saved and shows you the Flickr username to confirm the destination for upload. Click "Start Upload" to send your pictures to Flickr, or if you want to change the Flickr account click "Change User". Pay attention that if changing the Flickr user account for upload you will have to visit the Flickr web site, Sign In as a different user and then go through the process of giving access permission again.
Step 7
This dialog shows the progress of your upload.
Step 8
After the upload is completed you can visit the Flickr web site right away to add titles, descriptions and tags to uploaded pictures. If you want to do that click "Go to Flickr" and if you want to leave that for later then just click Ok.
