Tool and Tool Property: A tool can do some modification on current layer or document properties. Place the cursor over a tool's icon, the name of the tool will be shown on status bar. Select a tool, the tool's property window appears at the top-right of main window.

Operation Tabs : There are several tab-windows here, you can expand or collapse them by click the tab's name. The whole operation tab's window can be collapsed by click the left button with a triangle icon.

Statusbar: Show tool name, status and progress.

Current Color : Click the biggest button to choose the current color. Click the small black and white buttons on right to set it to black or white.the small buttons below is the history of current color changes.
