Create Free-Shape Frame

This function can create any frame you want.

Enter the function:

Click popup menu of 'Frame' button, select 'Edit frame template' then select 'Create New Free-Shape Frame' from the dialog.

Basic Idea:

The basic idea to create a free-shape frame is using 'transparent color' to present the orginal photo. The 'transparent color', in most case, is something like a 'blue screen shot'. To create a template, you need two 'reference images' with 'transparent color'. One is used to present the frame with horizontal orientation, another is for vertical orientation. See the following figures:

Like the figures above, the 'transparent color' here is blue (R=0,G=0,B=255), the aspect of the blue part is exactly same with the aspect of the photos taken by your camera. Normally, it's 4/3. When 'Add Frame', the blue part will be replaced by the original photo like this:

The interface and the description:

  1. Name: the name of template.
  2. Advance: Advance settings of template infomation, include author and description.
  3. Reference pictures - Horizontal: the file pf horizontal reference image. To get best quality, a lossless file format is recommend, such as BMP format.
  4. Reference pictures - Vertical: the file pf vertical reference image.
  5. Transparent color: In most case, it is blue. But if blue is one of the colors in frame itself, you should use 'Red' or 'Green' to replace it.
  6. Enable Signature: Add text signature.
