Descreening

The photo scanned from magazine or prints always have Moiré pattern. With this function, the pattern can be removed easily. Compared with descreening function of scanner itself, Turbo Photo can keep more details after processing.

Enter the function:

Click 'Descreening ' from the popup menu of button 'Enhancement'.

The interface and the description:

Pattern Size, Set the original photo zoom to 100%, select the most close pattern size compared to original. If the size chooses too small, the pattern can not be removed clearly. On other hand, a large one could loss more details.

Fast Processing, Check this, the program will only process Y channel (Luminance) to get 3 times faster. If the result still have blur-red spots, uncheck it or try to use ‘Noise Reduction’ after ‘Descreening’.

Double Clean, Clear twice to get more smooth result.
