Edit Frame Template
This function helps you create frame template with your own style.
Enter the function:
Select 'Edit frame template' in the popup menu of 'Frame'.
The interface and the description:

You will see a dialog first. The left side is a list box of all the templates. You can select one of them and click 'Edit' for editing or click 'Add New' to add a new template. Select one template and click 'Delete' can delete it from list.
If you click 'Edit...' or 'Add...' you will see the editing dialog for template:

It is a standard processing dialog with preview.
The first group of settings is about the information. You can set the 'Name' and the description( in 'Advance') of the template. Such information will be shown in the templates list when you add frame.
The next is about back ground. The 'Back ground' here means the maximal size of the frame and its default color. In the upper figure, The color of back ground is black, and the size if larger than the original size of photo. '3%,3%,3%,5%' means the left side is larger than original size with 3% of width, so the right side is 3%, the top is 3% of height, and the bottom is 5%.The reason why it is 5% of bottom is we plan to place the signature and logo image on it.
The border is optional setting. Check it will add another belt with effects around the photo. Differing from back ground, the border can have 'effects' and the size can be a negative number. The negative number means the border can be inside the image.
There are four effects type for border, you can see and select it in 'Type' combo box: Solid, Shadow, 3D and Scan Line. Different effect has different parameters, you can set them by click 'Advance'.
'Rectangles': Rectangle means a stroke with the shape of rectangle. Each stroke will have its color, width and position. You can set them by click 'Advance'. Multiple rectangle is supported, the default setting is no rectangle.
A important tip must be pointed out is that all the color except the color of background can have a 'Opacity' value which means you can get a half transparent frame.
The last group is about signature and logo image.
Signature is a text string which will be shown in photo with font, effect and color. Click 'Advance' you will see:

Type the text in the edit box. You can use 'macro' in it. The macro is a predefined string, for example, '%U' means the user name, '%A' means the aperture number. A sample, string 'Photo by %U %A %S', when user name is 'Tom', aperture number in EXIF is 'F8', shutter speed is '1/200', the string will be replaced to 'Photo by Tom F8 1/200'. Click button 'Insert macro' to insert it.
The font, the color( support opacity), size, location and the align mode can be set too. If it is not enough, you can try 'Add Text' for more great features.
The advanced setting of logo image is almost same with signature. The first difference is you must point out a file link to indicate where the logo image is. Another difference is that there are three overlay modes here: 'Light only', 'Dark only' and 'Mask'. The mask means another mask file is needed to store the 'Alpha blending channel' of the logo image. Refer to 'Layer property'.
The editing work of template is really hard for beginner, We highly suggest you to refer to the exist frame template to see how it works.
