Mono Tone Maker
This tool can convert color image into grayscale or mono tone image with various effects.
Enter the function:
Select 'Mono Tone Maker' from the popup menu of 'Color'
The interface and the description:
There are two pages of settings: Monochrome and Color bias. Monochrome page converts photo into grayscale while Color bias page controls the color effects.
Monochrome:
Method:
- Grayscale, channel mixer : Blend R,G,B channel together to get grayscale. Typically, grayscale = R*30% + G*60% + B*10%. You can change this proportion to get more details and better result. Select this, you will see three sliders to change the proportion of R,G,B channel.
- Desaturate: Use brightness channel of HSB color space as the grayscale result.
- Grayscale, consider non-linear response of eye: An optimized channel mizer, more close to human feeling of color, recommend.
- Opacity: Set this parameter to get output from original photo to the grayscale result. 0% means original photo, 100% means grayscale result.
Color Bias:
Reference color: Select the reference color for 'Shadow', 'Mid Tone' and 'Highlight' part of photo. <See two sample to get more infomation>
Amount: The amount of color bias. |
