Auto Preview

There are times when you may have a large collection of tracks that you want to sort through. Auto preview enables you to quickly sort through a collection of tracks and pick out the ones you want.

The auto preview function works by playing the first 3% of a track then jumping forward to 30% of the track and playing it until it reaches 37% of the track. When it reaches the 37% mark it will start the whole process again with the next track in the playlist. It will continue the preview process until the end of the playlist or until stop preview is pressed. During the, preview, if you hear a track you like, press COPY TO DECK 2.

Pressing copy to deck 2 will cause the track that's currently playing in deck 1 to be copied to deck 2.

Preparation

- Add the tracks or playlist(s) you want to preview to deck 1.
- Empty deck 2. " The tracks you select from the preview list will be placed in deck 2 "

Start preview

Right click deck 1, a menu will appear. Press START PREVIEW to start previewing the tracks.

" Deck 1's lower buttons will be disabled while deck 1's menu is visible "

The preview will start from the beginning of deck 1's playlist. To start from somewhere else, double click the track you want to start from, then press preview.

While preview is in progress, if you hear a track you like, press COPY TO DECK 2. Pressing copy to deck 2 will cause the track that's currently playing in deck 1 to be copied to deck 2.

Play next

To play the next track in the playlist before the currently playing track has reached the 37% mark, press PLAY NEXT.

When you have finished previewing tracks in deck 1 and you have sorted your favorites to deck 2, you might want to save the new playlist you have created.

Close

To close deck 1's menu press CLOSE.

NOTE

You don't have to be in preview mode to use COPY TO DECK 2. Pressing copy to deck 2 will copy the track who's track number is highlighted in deck 1 to deck 2.
