DJ Legend has two stereo players. Each player's stereo channels share a single equalizer and a special effects unit. The output of the stereo channels are monitored by one spectrum analyzer and two VU meters. One VU meter for each channel.
Add track
To add a track to the players, press ADD TRACK, then select the folder where the track is located then double click on the track you want to add. To select a group of tracks hold the left mouse button down while dragging the mouse pointer over all the tracks you want to add, when all the tracks you want to add are highlighted release the left mouse button and press OPEN.
" The maximum amount of tracks that can be loaded to a player is 200 "
Play
Any tracks added to the players will form a playlist. When you press play, the track who's track number is 'highlighted' will be played first and all tracks after it will automatically be played in turn until the last track in the list has been played.
To highlight a track number, double click on the track.
To play any track, double click on the track, then press PLAY.
Pause
Pressing PAUSE will pause the current track and freeze the spectrum analyzer and VU display.
Press PLAY to continue after pausing
Stop
Stops the current track.
Rewind
Fast rewinds the current track.
Forward
Fast forwards the current track.
Jump Forwards 10% 
Jumps forwards by 10% towards the end of the track.
Jump Backwards 10% 
Jumps backwards by 10% towards the beginning of the track.
Remove track
To remove a track from the playlist, click once on the track you want to remove then
press REMOVE TRACK.
Move up
To move a track up the playlist, press once on the track you want to move then press MOVE UP. The track will be highlighted and moved up one level. If you press move up again while the track is highlighted, the track will be moved up another level. About three seconds after the last press of move up the track will be unhighlighted.
Move down
To move a track down the playlist, click once on the track you want to move then press MOVE DOWN. The track will be highlighted and moved down one level. If you press move down again while the track is highlighted, the track will be moved down another level. About three seconds after the last press of move down the track will be unhighlighted.
Save playlist
To save the play list press SAVE PLAYLIST. Select a location to save it, choose a name to call it then press SAVE. The playlist can be saved in one of three formats PLS, M3U or WPL. The playlist can also be used by other media players.
Load playlist
DJ Legend recognizes the three most common playlist file types, PLS, M3U and WPL. As well as been able to load playlists created by DJ Legend you can also load playlists created by other media players. To load a playlist press LOAD PLAYLIST. Select the location where the playlist is stored then double click on it.
Delete playlist
To delete the playlist from deck 1, right click the mouse over the playlist. A menu will appear. press DELETE PLAYLIST then press close to close the menu.
To delete the playlist from deck 2 right click the mouse over the playlist and do as explained above.
Last Folder opened memories
When the ADD TRACK, LOAD PLAYLIST and SAVE PLAYLIST buttons are used DJ Legend will automatically memorizes the last folders used for adding tracks and the last folders used for loading and saving playlists. Each deck has independent memories. This feature is only active while DJ Legend is running. The memories will be lost when the program is terminated.
