Read Text

Me Speaking reads the text copied to the clip board. To read text simply select the text you want to read, then right click the mouse over it and select copy. Once you have copied it, click Me speaking's Play button.

After clicking PLAY the message ' Processing Text Please Wait ' will be displayed. After the text has been processed the message will disappear and the text will be spoken.

AUTO PLAY CLIP BOARD

Me Speaking can automatically read the text copied to the clip board without you having to click play. To auto play the Clip board click the white box, a tick will appear. To disable auto play clip board, click the white box again, the tick will disappear.

When auto play the Clip board is enabled, Me Speaking will monitor the clip board for changes. If any change is detected the clip board contents will be spoken. If more text is copied to the clip board Me Speaking will then only speak the clip board contents if its different from the previous clip board contents.

PAUSE READING

Reading can be paused at any time by clicking the PAUSE button. To resume reading after pausing click the PLAY button.

JUMPING TO OTHER SENTENCES  

Me Speaking has a sentence counter. The sentence counter works by counting the full stops in the document its reading. To jump to the next sentence click the FORWARD button once. To FAST FORWARD to other sentences click and hold down the FORWARD button.

To jump to the previous sentence or FAST REWIND to previous sentences do the same as the above but use the REWIND button.

REPLAYING THE CURRENT SENTENCE

To replay the current sentence click PLAY.

REPLAYING FROM THE BEGINNING

When Me Speaking has finished reading, the status indicator will display the message 'END' . To read the text again from the beginning Press PLAY or use the REWIND button to rewind back into the text.

STOP READING

Click STOP to end reading and reset the sentence counter.

MINIMIZING 'ME SPEAKING'

Me Speaking can be minimized by clicking the minimize button or clicking the me Speaking icon In the notification area.

Notification area -

When Me Speaking is minimized it will not be minimized to the task bar. It will disappear but will continue running in the background. To maximize Me Speaking, click the icon in the notification area.

READING TEXT WHILE MINIMIZED

If Me Speaking is set to auto play clip board, any text copied to the clip board will be read automatically even when Me Speaking is minimized and not visible.
