Save as Text or Audio
The text that's been spoken can be saved as a text file or a audio file. The text will be processed by the STI list before being saved. The text file can then be opened and spoken in Me Speaking or it can be opened with a text editor and viewed as normal text. the audio file can be played back with any media player that supports the file format used. mobile media players such as MP3 players can be used to play the audio files.
Saving as a text file
Click FILE, then move the mouse over ' SAVE SPEECH AS ' then click TEXT FILE. choose a name for the text file and then choose a location to save it. Then click save.

Saving as a audio file
Click FILE, then move the mouse over ' SAVE SPEECH AS ' then click AUDIO FILE.

After clicking ' AUDIO FILE ', the following screen will be shown.

The ' File, Schedule and TTSengine ' buttons will be disabled while in save as audio mode.
Select the file type you require. When you click on a file type the available sample rates for that file type will be displayed. select a sample rate from the list. A higher sample rate will produce a higher quality recording, but use more memory.
To start the recording click ' WRITE TO FILE ' choose a name for the file and then choose a location to save it. Then click save. Me Speaking will begin recording to the file.
When Me Speaking has finished recording, the screen below will be shown. The progress bar will have reached its maximum position and the word 'FINISHED' will be displayed.
The example below shows a recording in the MP3 format with the lowest quality selected.

Interrupting a recording
To stop a recording before its finished, click STOP. The incomplete audio file can be played using a media player that supports the format.
If the recording is stopped before the progress bar reaches the first bar. The file may not be complete enough to play back.
About recording
While recording, the talking clock and schedule alarms will be ignored.
Me Speaking will not start a recording or 'save as text' if there is nothing to read in the clip board.
