Creates a new, blank article and assigns the article a default title. If currently in Multi-Article Mode, the new article is appended to the current list. In Single-Article Mode, the new article replaces the current article. |

Allows you to save the currently displayed article as a text file. |
| File Splitter Utility |
Displays the File Splitter Utility window. The File Splitter allows you to split large text files into multiple smaller files. |
| Batch File Converter |
Displays the Batch File Converter window. The Batch File Converter lets you create audio files from a list of documents. |
| Tell a Friend |
Opens your browser and displays a page that lets you tell your friends about TextAloud and other NextUp products. |
| Exit TextAloud |
Closes the TextAloud application. |
