64 bit Converter

The 64-bit converter only runs under Windows XP/VISTA X64 editions. To run Open Video Converter X64, please install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64) first. Then run Start->Programs->Open Video Converter->Open Video Converter X64

64bits codecs are faster than 32bit codecs. But there are few video and audio compressors which are 64bit at present(2008.03), And 64bit application can not invoke 32bit codecs. You have to wait for 64bit codec.

You may select MJPEG Compressor or DV Video Encoder as the video compressor, Microsoft ADPCM as the audio compressor. But video quality is not as high as the famous encoders such as DivX or XviD.

2008.05 - FFDSHOW 64 has occurred on the internet.

2009.03.11 - If the output format is WMV, it is not necessary to install FFDSHOW 64 as encoder.
