Settings Window

Settings window allows to change iNet Protector settings.

Password tab

  • Enter Password
  • This text box is used to enter iNet Protector password. Confirm Password
  • This text box is used to confirm iNet Protector password and should contain the same password as the Enter Password box. Options tab

Display iNet Protector tray icon

  • Indicates that an icon should be displayed in the system tray. This icon shows Internet connection status and allows to access iNet Protector commands. Block changes to system time
  • Indicates that iNet Protector should deny adjustments to system time. This allows to protect Internet availability schedule. Display warning ( ) minutes before the Internet is disabled
  • Indicates that user should be notified before the Internet connection is restricted. Log iNet Protector events
  • Indicates that all iNet Protector events should be logged. These events include enabling, disabling internet and changing settings. You can view the log by clicking View Log button in the main form.

Ask password when exiting iNet Protector

  • Indicates that iNet Protector should ask for password before closing the tray icon. Always disable Internet on startup
  • Indicates that Internet connection should be automatically restricted on every computer startup. Disable Internet if computer is idle for ( ) minutes
  • Indicates that Internet connection should be automatically restricted if the computer is not used for the specified amount of time. Disable Internet when screen saver starts
  • Indicates that Internet connection should be automatically restricted whenever the screen saver is activated. Allowed Programs tab

Program Title, Program Filename

  • Contains list of programs that are not affected by iNet Protector. These programs have full access to the Internet any time.

Add

  • Adds a program to the list of exceptions.

Remove

  • Removes the selected program from the list of exceptions.

Allowed Services tab

Checkboxes

  • Indicate which services are allowed while Internet connection is blocked.

Add

  • Adds new item to the list of services.

Remove

  • Removes the selected item from the list of services.

Allowed Sites tab

List of allowed sites

  • Contains a list of websites that are not blocked by iNet Protector.
  • Add: Adds new web site address to the list of allowed sites.
  • Remove: Removes the selected web site address from the list of allowed sites. Allowed IPs tab

List of allowed IPs

  • Contains a list of IP address exceptions. Connection to these IP addresses is always allowed by iNet Protector.
  • Add: Adds new IP address to the list of allowed IP addresses.
  • Remove: Removes the selected IP address from the list of allowed IP addresses.

Command buttons

  • OK: Saves changes to the settings and closes the window.
  • Cancel: Closes the window without saving changes to the settings.
