Page Property

Meta Tag

  • No Cache
    This option will stops browsers from writing information into its cache.
  • Disable search engine robot
    This will tell search engine robots they are not allowed to index your page.
  • Make page expired immediately
    This disables browsers from caching this page; it will not be saved in the user's local TEMP folder.
  • Disable Image Toolbar(in IE6)
    Disable Image Toolbar in Internet Explorer 6 or higher version.
  • Disable Smart Tags(in IE6)
    Disable Smart Tags in Internet Explorer 6 or higher version.
  • Disable Save To(in IE6)
    Disable Save To in Internet Explorer 6 or higher version.

Script

  • Disable mouse right click
    This option make it impossible for the visitors to right click on your images and select "Save image..." from the context menu in any way, as well as link addresses.
  • Disable text selection
    After selecting this option, people will not able to highlight and select the text by dragging the mouse over the text, clicking "Select All" or pressing Ctrl + A. Therefore they cannot copy the text from your page.
  • Do not display links in status bar
    Under normal conditions, when you put the mouse over a link, the address of the link will be displayed in the status bar which is usually at the bottom of the browser. If you do not want the visitors to see the links, please select this option. If there are custom messages in the status bar, they will also be disabled.
  • Disable offline use
    By selecting this option, your page will work correctly when browsing online, but will be a blank page when browsing from a local disk. So, if someone save your page from your web site, he will see nothing.
  • Disable page printing
    This is available for IE 5+. If you select this option, the page will be hided when being printed. As a result, people will see a blank sheet.
  • Add error free script
    Add a Javascript to the page which makes all the error prompts invisible.
  • Kill frame
    This option will prevent your page from being displayed in a frame on another page.

Encryption

Options

  • Only encrypt Body section
    Only encrypt the source code between <body> and </body>.
  • Only encrypt Script section
    Only encrypt the source code between <script> and </script>.

Encrypt Level

  • Normal
    The security level of this scheme is comparably low. After encryption, the size of HTML files will increase about 50%, but page loading is the top fastest.
  • Hard
    The security level of this scheme is comparably high. After encryption, the size of HTML files will increase about 10%, but page loading is slower.

Optimization

  • Just optimize (Don't Encrypt)
    If choose,"Encrypt" Encrypt button turns into "Optimize" Optimize button.
  • Optimize Web Page before encryption
    Carry out a optimization before encryption to reduce the size of the page and to save the transfer of your web site.
    We advise you to select it for pages larger than 50KB.

FTP Settings

  • Server address:
    Address of your host server.(i.e. "ftp.myftp.com")
  • User Name:
    Your user identification as it has been assigned to you by your provider for the FTP Upload.
  • Password:
    The password associated with your username.
  • Output dir.:
    The directory on the server, to which the protected files will be uploaded (normally this fields can remain empty) - please enter only the directory's name and not the absolute path.(i.e. "public_html")
  • Save FTP password
    When this checkbox is activated, the stated password will be stored in the Windows registry so that you do not have to enter it again every time you start the program.
  • Upload to server via FTP
    By selecting this option the files, after the modification by "Webpage Guard", will be transferred directly to your server.

Backup

  • Create backup files
